- This position is either a Full Time of Part Time seasonal position with a variable schedule; the ability to work day and evenings according to the needs of the program is required; Monday – Friday and able to commit to the entire summer season
- This position requires work that occurs both indoors and outside on a regular basis; handling of cleaning products and agents is required
- This position has an inherent amount of physical and mental stress; all candidates must be prepared and capable of adapting to such conditions and be mentally alert at all times
- A positive attitude and professional behavior are expected and displayed consistently in all dealings with members and fellow Team members
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic Responsibilities:
- Leading a group of campers through their camp experiences
- Developing youth friendships to ensure each child is connected to their camp community
- Completing daily opening and closing procedures, as well as safety logs
- Daily written and verbal communication with Camp parents, team members, club members, and Program Director
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of the campers in your care and communicate safety or behavior concerns with appropriate parties
- Ensure each area of the club utilized by the camp is clean, safe, and in good repair
